Hair Massacure Edmonton Alberta

This past week IMP Event Photography had the pleasure of photographing the 6th year of the Valentine's Day Hair Massacure. The Hair Massacure is a brilliant charity effort in Edmonton Alberta, which raises money to support children with life threatening illnesses. http://www.hairmassacure.com/

Participants of all ages and genders lined up in droves to get their hair died pink then have their heads shaved in order to show their support for the cause. Special guests included athletes from the Edmonton Rush and Edmonton Eskimos as well as guest entertainer Wayne Lee.

This year OVER 1000 HEADS WERE SHEARED and over six hundred and fifty thousand was raised for the The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta.
